Christine Whitman will be the guest speaker at RocGrowth Candids Wednesday December 2nd from 5:30p - 7:30p at the Downstairs Cabaret in Rochester, NY. RocGrowth Candids is a speaker series that features a local company founder sharing personal stories and lessons learned on the path to building a successful company.
Christine Whitman is the former CEO and President of CVC, a Rochester-based company that supplied thin film process equipment for the semiconductor and data storage industries. Ms. Whitman led the company through a successful IPO and subsequent acquisition.
Ms. Whitman is currently the Chairman and CEO of Complemar Partners, Inc. in Rochester, a company providing product fulfillment, contract packaging, and software services to the health & beauty, pharmaceutical, food & wine, telecom and e-commerce industries out of 4 locations across the United States.
She is founder of the Greater Rochester Enterprise and the Rochester Angel Network, serves on the boards of Soleo Communications, Voiceport and OneStream Networks, and is managing partner of CSW Equity Partners, where she manages a portfolio of investments in early stage companies. She is also a member of the Board of Trustees at the George Eastman Museum and serves as a member of the board of High Tech Rochester and the advisory boards of Venture Creations and New York State’s Finger Lakes Regional Economic Development Council.
Most recently, Ms. Whitman was named Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Rochester Institute of Technology, the first female to be named to the position.
